  1. Leslie Rasmussen says:

Snip.ly can be an effective tool for learners as they research online. They can take quotes or simple portions of an article and write an annotation. I often research online and sometimes view PDFs online, using Snip.ly can make taking electronic notes on such files much easier while organizing them. This is almost a much more simplified version of Diggo or Delicious. Today’s student love to go online the minute the hear “research,” so providing a free tool to help them take notes or to help them remember specific references they see online is wonderful. I’m sure I can use this tool as I continue working on my dissertation!
