Present.me

Present.me is a new cloud based presentation tool that allows you to make sharing presentations online quite simple. Basically, it is a PowerPoint presentation set beside a video recorded through your webcam. It uses your webcam to capture the audio/video stream and then puts it together with the slides. Your final presentation can be shared online and embedded anywhere on the Web.

Currently, two membership plans by Present.me with a third coming soon. The free basic account that allows 15 minute record lengths, up to 10 recordings per month and a 50 MB upload limit. However, the private setting is not allowed for free basic accounts.  The Plus plan costs just under $30 per month and upgrades to include 90 minute record lengths, up to 30 recordings per month, privacy features, 200 MB upload limit and no advertisements. The Max Account will be available soon and will include unlimited monthly recordings as well as builds and animations for around $100 per month.

Present.me is a great tool for teachers and students.  With the free plan, students can publish up to 10 recordings per month and present them to the class.  Also, I think Present.me is a real cool tool to share your teaching online. It is quite simple and effective.
