Blended Learning Infographic

Blended Learning is a flexible approach to learning and teaching that combines and aligns learning undertaken in face-to-face sessions with learning opportunities created online. Personally, blending learning is one of my favorite delivery modes in my college teaching. I have experienced a great success when courses are taught in the blending learning format. My students prefer the blending learning delivery mode and they feel they get the best of both worlds.  Blended learning is a disruptive innovation in education that can take many forms. Knewton did an excellent job of creating the infographic “Blended Learning: A Disruptive Innovation(embedded below).  This infographic looks at what blended learning is, why it’s spreading, and how it works in real and virtual classrooms.
